Snapstars
was devised by
The Boot Room,
for 12-16 year
old girls who shop at high street fashion outlets. A
kiosk located in the store allows users to take a
picture of themselves or with their friends and then
choose a themed frame for the snapshot. The user can
then print out a sticker of their themed pictures and a
login that allows them to access their image online.
Westhawk provides the system which allows a high street kiosk and an online website to be managed and accessed securely by different user groups. We also developed the technology which allocates a random six word phrase to the user on their receipt, this enables them to login to the website and claim their image in a digital format. The user can then email the image to a friend or post it on the virtual sticker wall. Westhawk also provides the database application that allows secure online administrative access to the logged data about the usage of the kiosks. This allows the administrator to know which kiosks are being used the most, which ones are not working. |
